[Also in Division G4] A predetermined number of operations of a duplicating machine may be carried out by setting a counter disc 92 to the required number and lifting key 28. Each machine cycle then advances a ratchet wheel 130. At the penultimate cycle a pin 192, Fig. 10, on the wheel 130, rooks bell-crank 194 in a clockwise direction to move tooth 212 on a lever 202 into the path of the counter-driving lever 72. The next machine cycle acts on lever 202 to depress output lever 78, so restoring key 28 and stopping the machine. The counter may be disabled by raising knob 94, Fig. 1.
