Specified esters are the dialkyl esters, dicyclohexyl, diphenyl, dibenzyl, difurfuryl, 2, 3-dichlorophenyl ethyl and 3, 5-dichlorophenyl benzyl esters. The solutions or suspensions may contain surface active agents.ALSO:Disinfecting packaging materials and containers for foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics is by dipping in or spraying with a solution or suspension of a diester of pyrocarbonic acid or contacting them with the vapour of the diester mixed with another gas. Dialkyl, dicyclohexyl, diphenyl, difurfusyl, 2,3-dichlorophenyl ethyl and 3,5-dichlorophenyl benzyl esters are specified. Packaging foils, flasks, bottles and stoppers may be treated. The solutions or suspensions may contain surface active agents. |
