Zusammenfassung: | 964,656. Rug cleaning machines. ELECTROLUX CORPORATION. May 21, 1963 [June 1, 1962], No. 20130/63. Heading A4F. In a rug shampooing machine a foamable liquid is supplied from a reservoir 48 via a valve 80 to the back surface of a rotary brush 62 and is agitated into a foam as the brush 62 rotates by the engagement of a stationary brush 76 with inclined ribs 70 on the brush back 60. The brush 62 is rotated by a turbine 16 actuated by compressed air supplied through a tube 46 from a vacuum cleaner. The foam flows over the edge of brush to be worked into the rug surface. The valve 80 is carried by a stem 82 extending through a pivoted member 88 having connected thereto a valve operating cord 90. Specification 672,760 is referred to. |
