In an electrical rotating machine armature 30 comprising a thin insulating sheet 31 coated with conductive patterns forming an electrical winding, deformation due to operating temperature variations is minimized by displacing transversely an edge region 71 with respect to an adjacent region 72 of the armature. As shown, the region 71 is corrugated, and the inner edge region 70 may also be displaced, both displacements being effected by a pressing operation.
