Zusammenfassung:	An automated hand having an arrangement for mounting a digit connector such that the connector can rotate when a force is applied to a digit. The arrangement can include a rigid mount and a resiliently deformable sleeve, with the connector within the sleeve. The automated hand can be compatible with a touchscreen. The automated hand can have a worm drive for rotating a digit, the worm drive including a bearing configured to resist axial loads in both directions. The automated hand can have a thumb with an auxiliary support. A catch can be provided to restrict pivoting of a digit under load. A wrist can be clamped to the hand, can be releasably electrically coupled to the hand, can be locked against rotation, and can include resiliently deformable pieces. A cover can also be provided for an automated hand. The cover can include a knitted body and a structural brace.
