DELAY TOLERANT DATA OBJECT TRANSMISSION

A method performed by a first network node for transmitting a data object to a second network node via a network. The method includes obtaining at least one of the following items: i) information indicating the size of the data object, ii) network state information for the network, or iii) state information for the second network node. The method also includes determining, based on the obtained information, at least one of the following: i) a delay tolerant, DT, configuration for the transmission of the data object, wherein the determined DT configuration comprises a set of parameter values, or ii) a schedule for the transmission of the data object. The method further includes transmitting the data object to the second network node based on a) the determined DT configuration and/or b) the determined schedule.
