Zusammenfassung:	A method for performance management is provided. The method includes receiving information to determine a location of a host platform. The method further comprises receiving information on a compliance policy comprising a list of countries and a list of semiconductor-tor devices. Additionally, the method comprises throttling a performance of a semiconductor-tor device associated with the host platform based on the information on the compliance policy if the semiconductor device is within the list of semiconductor devices and if the location of the host platform matches with a country within the list of the countries.
