Zusammenfassung:	A package made of fibre material has at least a first wall and a second wall, as well as an adhesive stripe between the first wall and the second wall. The adhesive stripe constitutes a seam closing the package on that side of the package where the package is arranged to be opened. The paper package further has at least one fibre rip stopper at the edge of the adhesive stripe or at a distance from it in the direction of the interior of the package, the stopper being arranged to delimit the point separating the first wall and the second wall to the edge of the adhesive stripe or to a distance from it in the direction of the interior of the package when the package is opened. The disclosed embodiments also relates to a method for making a package of fibre material.
