Zusammenfassung:An image quality of an ultrasound image formed by using an intracavitary insertion type ultrasound probe can be improved, and a degree of freedom in design can be increased. M electronic circuits IC1 to IC5 are connected to a transducer array 80. Each of the electronic circuits IC1 to IC5 has a multiplexer MU and i receivers R1 to R4. The multiplexer MU includes (i×j+k) (where j is an integer of one or more and k is an integer of one or more and less than i) input terminals and i output terminals. A wiring circuit 200 including the M electronic circuits IC1 to IC5 connects i signal lines L1 to L4 to i transducers constituting a reception opening without overlapping connection.
