Zusammenfassung:	A system for the discharge of evaporated product moisture from a drum dryer, comprising:a vapour hood for collecting evaporated product moisture from the drum dryer;a discharge fan for discharging evaporated moisture from the vapour hood;control means to control the fan, for example to adapt a volume flow rate of the discharge fan to a volume flow rate of evaporated moisture under the vapour hood; wherein the hood sealingly engages the drum of the drum dryer.The invention also provides a method for the discharge of evaporated product moisture from a drum dryer, wherein the volume flow rate of the fan is such that an interface between vapour and air is located below a top of the drum of the drum dryer.
