Techniques for providing a topological co-relation are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system/process/computer program product for providing a topological co-relation includes deriving hop-by-hop metrics for a network topology and a plurality of events for a cloud-based security service associated with access to an application over a network for a user or a group of users, wherein the network topology is monitored dynamically; correlating the derived hop-by-hop metrics and the plurality of events on a plurality of dimensions to facilitate automatically determining a root cause of an issue associated with the access to the application over the network for the user or the group of users based on the plurality of events; and performing a remediation response based on the root cause of the issue associated with the access to the application over the network for the user or the group of users based on the plurality of events.
