Zusammenfassung:An aerosol-generating device is provided, including: a housing having an outer surface, an inner surface, and a through-hole connecting the outer surface and the inner surface; a button at least partially arranged in the through-hole, the button being configured to be pressed in a pressing direction; a switch; an actuator, in which pressing the button in the pressing direction operates the switch via the actuator; and at least one guide pin extending into a corresponding at least one guide hole in the actuator, the actuator being configured to carry out a tilting motion when the button is pressed in the pressing direction. A method for actuating a switch of an aerosol-generating device is also provided.
