The invention also relates to a sugar replacer or low calorie or substantially calorie-free filler or bulking agent comprising a cell wall extract or fraction wherein the cell wall extract or fraction comprises protein, oil and carbohydrate. The invention also provides methods of producing a composition comprising a cell wall extract or fraction and a uses thereof.
