Zusammenfassung: | Waveguide apparatuses having a rotary joint and methods of assembling and using the same are provided. The apparatus includes a first waveguide configured to circularly polarize and output a primary wave to a second waveguide via a first radio frequency (RF) interface, a second waveguide configured to receive the primary wave via a second RF interface and a contactless flange configured to physically and communicatively connect the first waveguide and the second waveguide wherein the first RF interface and the second RF interface are communicatively connected and not mechanically in contact. The physical connection is physically rotatable such that the communicative connection is maintained in rotation. The first waveguide may be configured to obtain the primary wave including receiving a first wave and a second wave and combining and circularly polarizing each wave or the combined wave. |
