Zusammenfassung:	The disclosure relates to a component for a drug delivery device which is configured to be connected to an arrangement of the drug delivery device and which includes a functional element. At least when the component is connected to the arrangement, a transition region is formed between facing surfaces of elements of the drug delivery device, wherein at least one of these elements is an element of the component. The transition region reaches from the exterior of the component to the interior of the component and is designed such that the risk of fluid reaching from the exterior into the interior of the component via the transition region is reduced in order to protect the functional element.
