Zusammenfassung:	Devices and systems for treatment of a diseased heart valve. The anchor may be deployed around chordae and/or leaflets of the diseased valve prior to delivery of a valve prosthesis into the annulus of the diseased valve and within the anchor. A tether may be configured to provide access to the anchor and/or adjust a position of the anchor with respect to the diseased valve. The tether may include a proximal region and a distal region, where the distal region may be releasably connectable to the anchor. The proximal and distal regions may have different properties, such as different flexibilities. In some cases, at least a portion of the tether may be configured to transition between a flexible and stiff state.
