Zusammenfassung:	Systems, apparatuses, and methods for fan beams are provided. In various embodiments, the fan beams may be for sonar systems, radar systems, and lidar systems. An exemplary sonar system may comprise a transducer configured to generate a fan beam and a display to render one or more images. The sonar system may generate a plurality of fan beams with the transducer; receive, with the transducer, a plurality of reflections based on the fan beams; determine a velocity of the sonar system based on the reflections; generate a plurality of first images based on the velocity and the reflections; and render the plurality of first images on the display. In various embodiments, the transducer may be mounted on a vehicle and the velocity may also be used to control the positioning of the vehicle.
