The input interface is connected to the memory. The output interface is also connected to the memory. The memory is capable of storing at least one parameter of the cable, which is input via the input interface. The output interface is capable of accessing the at least one parameter stored in the memory and outputting the at least one parameter. Moreover, a system and a device are disclosed.
