Zusammenfassung:	A luminescent material made of platinum complex having NNCN tetradentate ligand, and applications thereof in light emitting diode are provided. The platinum complex is a compound has a structure as shown in Formula (I). When applied to an organic light emitting diode, and has the potential to be applied to the field of organic electroluminescent devices. An organic electroluminescent device is further provided, which includes a cathode, an anode and an organic layer. The organic layer is selected from the group consisting of an electron hole injection layer, an electron hole transport layer, a luminescent layer, an electron hole blocking layer, an electron transport layer, an electron injection layer, and any combination thereof. At least one of the organic layers contains a compound represented by structural formula (I).
