Zusammenfassung:	A cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery includes a first active material particle having a secondary particle structure that include first primary particles that are agglomerated or aggregated, and a second active material particle having a secondary particle structure that includes second primary particles that are agglomerated or aggregated. A particle diameter of the second active material particle is smaller than a particle diameter of the first active material particle, and an aspect ratio of the second primary particles is smaller than an aspect ratio of the first primary particles. Each of the first active material particle and the second active material particle includes a lithium-nickel-cobalt-based metal oxide, and a mass ratio of cobalt to active metals excluding lithium, nickel and cobalt in the lithium-nickel-cobalt-based metal oxide is in a range from 0.7 to 2.0.
