Zusammenfassung:	An organic light-emitting device including, in sequence, an anode, a light-emitting layer, a first organic compound layer in contact with the light-emitting layer, and a cathode, in which the light-emitting layer contains a host material and a guest material, the host material is a hydrocarbon compound whose carbon atoms are SP2 carbon atoms only, the hydrocarbon compound is represented by any of the following formulae [1-1] to [1-6]:Ar1 and Ar2 are each independently selected from aryl groups, each of Ar1 and Ar2 may further contain substituents, R1 to R8 are each independently selected from a hydrogen atom and aryl groups. The guest material is a light-emitting material containing a fluoranthene skeleton, and the first organic compound layer contains a compound containing fused polycyclic hydrocarbon skeleton having three or more rings and five or less rings.
