Zusammenfassung:	This invention relates to use of a strain of probiotic bacteria or derivatives thereof for increasing feed efficiency, enhancing growth and/or productivity, improving body weight or body composition of a ruminant animal, and/or increasing milk production in a ruminant animal, inhibiting the growth of methane-producing bacteria and/or archaea in the forestomach of ruminant animals, reducing the ability of the rumen microbiome to produce methane, reducing methane emissions by a ruminant animal, and/or reducing the greenhouse gas emission footprint of a ruminant animal. Ruminant feed compositions are also provided.
