Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a production method of a coating composition for electrode, which is able to determine suitable conditions in a dispersion step of an electrode slurry for positive electrode for lithium ion battery, in terms of numerical values, and to enhance performances of the resulting battery. A production method of an electrode slurry for positive electrode for lithium ion secondary battery, including kneading at least a carbon material as an electroconductive material and a solvent into a dispersion, is disclosed. As for the carbon material-dispersed slurry, its alternating current impedance value immediately after the dispersion is controlled to a prescribed numerical value.
