Zusammenfassung:	A mounting system is provided for mounting an upper body structure laterally onto a vehicle platform of a motor vehicle. At least one of the upper body structure and the vehicle platform are equipped with wheels to be movable laterally on the ground with regards to a longitudinal direction. The upper body structure has an engagement portion and the vehicle platform has a complementary shaped counter-engagement portion shaped to engage each other under relative lateral movement of the upper body structure and the vehicle platform towards each other thereby coupling the upper body structure and the vehicle platform to each other for joint longitudinal movement.
