Zusammenfassung:	A method and system for controlling a vehicle based on traffic sign information includes determining an operating region and a current driving region of a vehicle, determining, based on a result of the determining of the operating region and the driving region being different from each other and a traffic sign being recognized in front of the vehicle, whether a traffic sign corresponding to the recognized traffic sign is present among traffic signs applicable to a preset operating region, and visualizing, based on the traffic sign corresponding to the recognized traffic sign being present among the traffic signs applicable to the present operating region, the recognized traffic sign into the corresponding traffic sign through conversion.
