Zusammenfassung:A device for operating an on-board electrical system including a first subsystem with a first energy storage device and an electric machine and a second subsystem with a second energy storage device, wherein the electric machine is part of a hybrid drive starts an internal combustion engine, wherein the device determines whether the electric machine has to be operated in order to start the internal combustion engine for subsequently starting the hybrid drive and, in preparation for subsequently starting the hybrid drive, cause electrical energy to be transferred from the second energy storage device to the first energy storage device when it is determined that the electrical machine has to be operated in order to start the internal combustion engine for subsequently starting the hybrid drive.
