The method includes the following steps: detecting a temperature of the battery pack, in particular of a battery cell of the battery pack, by way of a temperature sensor of the battery pack; determining a resistance variable of the battery pack on the basis of the detected temperature by way of the battery pack; and operating the working device on the basis of the determined resistance variable.
