Zusammenfassung:Disclosed herein is a technique capable of reducing a time required for a process of calculating a pigment concentration in a specific region of a subject based on image data of the subject. A coefficient determination unit determines, based on the image data, an extraction coefficient vector x which is associated with a predetermined imaging device and which is used to calculate a configuration of a desired one pigment in the specific range of the subject. The coefficient determination unit includes a response calculation unit and a coefficient calculation unit. The response calculation unit calculates at least one of an absorption coefficient vector a and a shade vector e. The coefficient calculation unit calculates the extraction coefficient vector x using at least one of the absorption coefficient vector a and the shade vector e.
