Zusammenfassung: | A method for selecting one or more gain values in an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) current measurement system to provide an improved signal-to-noise characteristic can include selecting a larger one of an electrochemical cell arrangement impedance indication value and a sense resistor arrangement impedance indication value and using the selected impedance indication value as a determined impedance indication value. The method can also include determining, for a plurality of gain setting combinations, an EIS excitation current value at which current measurement circuitry of the current measurement system will reach a specified amount of a non-saturation range of the current measurement system when measuring the determined impedance indication value. The method can also include determining, for the plurality of gain setting combinations, a signal-to-noise characteristic at the determined EIS excitation current based upon a determined noise level in at least one part of the EIS current measurement system. |
