The vehicle control apparatus is configured to determine whether the following travel control ends according to a driver's intention or the following travel control automatically ends regardless of the driver's intention, when the execution condition is satisfied before a predetermined time elapses from an end time point at which the following travel control ends, and more strongly suppress the deceleration support control when the following travel control ends according to the driver's intention than when the following travel control automatically ends.
