Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed herein are systems and methods for three-dimensional (3-D) printing a build piece in which a laser beam source generates a laser beam for melting a material at a build plate. Additionally, the systems and methods herein include a directed acoustic energy exciter (DAEE) configured to generate an acoustic energy. A controller can be configured to direct the laser beam at a first location to melt the material into a melt pool to form a portion of a build piece and configured to direct the DAEE to transmit the acoustic energy to the first location. |
