Zusammenfassung:	A drug delivery device (100, 300) for delivering a plurality of doses of a medicament, wherein a needle shield (110, 310) is operationally coupled to a hub driving structure (210, 430), a active needle assembly (220, 420), a pulling structure (230, 320) and a support structure (136, 336, 338, 350) such that the operation of the needle shield is adapted to drive the active needle assembly (220, 420) to the proximal position of the active needle assembly (220, 420), before the needle shield (110, 310) can reach the proximal position of the needle shield (220, 420), whereby fluid connection can be establish before the drive mechanism can be activated.
