Zusammenfassung:	According to various embodiments, an electronic device includes a communication module, a display, a memory, and at least one processor, where the at least one processor is configured to execute a plurality of instructions stored in the memory to: establish a connection between an external display device and the electronic device through the communication module; execute a message application in which the electronic device and at least one external electronic device can participate; obtain, on the basis of the connection between the external display device and the electronic device, data related to a content displayed on the external display device; and display an execution screen of the message application on the display, the execution screen changing in response to the data related to the content.
