Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed herein is a system for self-administering an infection culture test, the system including apparatus for self-administering the infection culture test, the apparatus including a housing having a cover and a compartment for storing a bacterial culture and to facilitate bacterial growth, a hydrophilic filter positioned within the compartment to facilitate bacterial growth, and a window cover to hermetically seal the compartment; at least one smart device configured to record at least one image of the bacteria within the apparatus and provide a determination whether an infection is present and to identify what specific bacteria is present.
