Zusammenfassung:	An aqueous coating composition contains: (A) an emulsion polymer comprising, based on the weight of the emulsion polymer, from 0.48 wt % to 1.20 wt % of structural units of a phosphorous acid monomer, a salt thereof, or mixtures thereof, from 0.5 wt % to 3 wt % of structural units of diacetone (meth) acrylamide, from 10 wt % to 80 wt % of structural units of a vinyl aromatic monomer, structural units of a C1-C24-alkyl ester of (meth) acrylic acids, and optionally, structural units of an α, β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid; (B) a specific amount of a dicarboxylic acid of formula (I) HOOC-R-COOH, a salt thereof, or mixtures thereof; and (C) from 0.05 wt % to 5 wt % of a flash rust inhibitor relative to the aqueous coating composition weight.
