Zusammenfassung:	A brake pedal module for a brake-by-wire braking system of a vehicle is disclosed, with a carrier component for attaching the brake pedal module to the vehicle, a brake pedal mounted pivotably on the carrier component, a feedback unit which, to generate a resistance on actuation of the brake pedal, is mechanically coupled at one end to the brake pedal and at the other end to the carrier module, and a sensor unit for detecting a braking request of a driver and having at least one sensor for detecting an actuation travel. The sensor unit is attached to the carrier component at the side of the brake pedal such that the sensor is arranged on a pivot bearing of the brake pedal.
