The channel information reporting method includes: obtaining, by the terminal, to-be-reported target time domain information based on a first report configuration. The target time domain information is used to indicate channel change characteristics at a plurality of occasions. The channel information reporting method further includes reporting, by the terminal, a first report on a target resource. The first report includes the target time domain information, and the target resource is a reporting resource indicated by the first report configuration.
