A display device includes a substrate, a bank disposed on the substrate and having a multi-layered structure having an opening, a light emitting element disposed in the opening and including a pixel electrode, a light emitting layer, and a common electrode, a thin film encapsulating layer disposed on the light emitting element and the bank, a micro lens disposed on the thin film encapsulating layer and overlapping the light emitting element, and a light control layer disposed on the thin film encapsulating layer and surrounding the micro lens. A refractive index of the micro lens is greater than a refractive index of the light control layer.The pixel electrode is disposed in the opening and extends along an inner surface of the bank, and the light emitting layer extends along the inner surface of the bank on the pixel electrode.
