Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a shutoff mechanism for a wand of a faucet. The wand may be pulled away from a body of the faucet. The shutoff mechanism controls the flow of fluid to an outlet of the wand. The fluid may be continuously pressurized treated water. The shutoff mechanism includes two or more gates with windows and shutter portions. The gates may be rotated relative to one another such that the windows and shutter portions may define a flow path through the shutoff mechanism. A shutoff actuator may control the position of the shutoff mechanism between a closed position which prevents flow through the shutoff mechanism and an open position which allows flow through the shutoff mechanism.
