Zusammenfassung:	This application provides a discharge method and discharge apparatus for battery, able to improve the discharge capability of batteries in low-temperature environments. The discharge method includes: obtaining a temperature of a battery; and determining, when the temperature of the battery is lower than a preset temperature threshold, to discharge the battery based on a first discharge current until the battery meets a preset condition, and then determining to discharge the battery based on a second discharge current, where the first discharge current is used for heating the battery during discharging, and the first discharge current is greater than the second discharge current.
