Zusammenfassung:	A water sensing device for a water leakage detection system of a laundry appliance, may include a sensing strap configured to selectively attach to a part of a laundry appliance, the sensing strap configured to detect moisture; and a sensing component attached to the sensing strap and including at least two contacts in contact with the sensing strap and configured to detect moisture from the sensing strap, and a processor configured to, in response to the contacts detecting moisture from the sensing strap, instruct transmission of the moisture detection to a mobile device to provide an alert for detected moisture.
