The method includes receiving a first message including a first IE that indicates a set of first features supported by a first network node. The method includes transmitting, for the first network node, a second message including first UE capability information of the UE based on the first IE included in the first message, where the first UE capability information includes a subset of the set of first features supported by the first network node.
