Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a method and a system for image batch processing recognition. Improved adaptive threshold segmentation, regional growth segmentation and global threshold segmentation methods are used to recognize red sandstone samples in a process of uniaxial compression failure in a certain area of Yunnan. In an embodiment, batch recognition times and relative errors of partial recognition images are calculated.
