Zusammenfassung: | A light detection and ranging (LIDAR) system for a vehicle includes one or more emitters configured to transmit light signals to an environment in which the vehicle is located; one or more detectors configured to receive return signals corresponding to the light signals being reflected back from an object in the environment; and one or more processors configured to: determine a reflectivity characteristic of the object based on reflectivity values associated with the object which are determined based on the return signals; and provide information relating to the reflectivity characteristic of the object to an autonomous vehicle control system. |
