Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for converting a feedstock comprising textile material and/or paper material into one or more value-added product(s), comprising the steps of:(i) culturing fungal cells of the genus Myceliophthora, Sporotrichum, Thielavia, Corynascus, Chrysosporium, Ctenomyces or any mixture thereof, in a liquid growth medium comprising at least 0.3 wt % of lactose, at least 0.1 wt % of a nitrogen source, and less than 2 wt % of a non-inducing carbon source for a period to provide an induced fungal cell culture;(ii) optionally subjecting a feedstock comprising textile material and/or paper material to a sterilization treatment to provide a sterilized feedstock;(iii) contacting said feedstock or said sterilized feedstock with the induced fungal cell culture and a fermentation medium to form a fermentation mixture;(iv) incubating the fermentation mixture under conditions allowing for conversion of the textile material into value-added product(s); and optionally(v) isolating the value-added product(s) from said fermentation mixture. |
