Zusammenfassung:To provide a solid catalyst component for polymerization of an olefin, which can easily produce a polymer of an olefin, which is excellent in fluidity and also is high in rigidity even though the molecular weight distribution is narrow, without performing complicated polymerization treatment. A solid catalyst component for polymerization of an olefin includes magnesium, titanium and halogen, and further includes an aromatic carboxylic acid ester and a 1,3-diether compound as internal electron-donating compounds, wherein a content ratio of the titanium is 0.5 to 2.0% by mass, a content ratio of the aromatic carboxylic acid ester in a total content of the internal electron-donating compounds is 40 to 60 mol %, and a content ratio of the 1,3-diether compound in the total content of the internal electron-donating compounds is 40 to 60 mol %.
