Zusammenfassung:An electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery according to exemplary embodiments includes an additive represented by Formula 1 below; an organic solvent; and a lithium salt:wherein in Formula 1, R1 to R4 are each independently hydrogen, or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10 alkyl group, and R5 and R6 are each independently hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10 alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted amine group. Accordingly, a lithium secondary battery including the electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery having a specific composition may have improved low and high temperature characteristics.
