Zusammenfassung:	A method for estimating a pose of a user by a head-mounted display (HMD) device is provided. The method includes obtaining at least two images from at least two cameras of the HMD device, each of the at least two obtained images including a view of at least a portion of a body of the user wearing the HMD device, estimating a pose of the body of the user based on the view of the at least portion of the body of the user included in each of the at least two obtained images, estimating a pose of a head of the user based on the at least two obtained images, and estimating the pose of the user based on the estimated pose of the body of the user and the estimated pose of the head of the user.
