Zusammenfassung:An electronic device and a control method using the same are provided. The electronic device may include: a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor having a plurality of channels arranged isotropically; and a processor configured to: detect a center of gravity of an external force applied to a measurement area of the PPG sensor by an object, based on PPG signals that are detected from the plurality of channels when the object is in contact with the measurement area of the PPG sensor, and generate a control command based on a change in the detected center of gravity.
