Zusammenfassung:A protective housing for accommodating a transponder receivable therein in a medical device. The medical device can be a surgical instrument and/or medical device in a sterilization circuit. The protective housing has at least two integrated snap-in noses on two opposite sides of the protective housing. The snap-in noses are diagonally opposite to each other and formed so as to snap into notches within the medical device in an undercutting manner.
